8. My advice

A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

I had a plan all throughout my life. You know one of those "plans" about how your life is going to turn out. No excuses. I was going to move away. Far far away. I was going to go to college, get my dream job, and make it big. I was going to be the girl that my tiny little town talked about. The girl that made it out and made something of herself.

I have to say.. Things didn't turn out the way I had planned. Not by a long shot. I'm still in my tiny little town. I quit college. I'm married. I have a baby. I'm everything I said I'd never be.

But to be honest.. I'd take what I am today over any other scenario that I had planned for my life before. . I have new hopes and dreams. They are better than anything I could have ever dreamed up before. My life is so full now. It has so much meaning. I'm exactly where I want and need to be.

So my piece of advice--

If you are caught up in the stress of how your life should turn out to be or what you want it to turn out to be -- Let go. Let life happen on its own. There is a special plan for you that will happen and you won't have any say in the matter but its what is best for you. It's Gods plan.

Let go and let God.

  3. I am happy for you that you accept your life as the way it is. That is so important for happiness and contentment. It is also important to accept it because only when you accept it can you start to change it.
