A New Nursery with an Urban Wall

I mentioned a while back how I was planning on finishing/redoing Baylor's room. I have finally gotten it presentable for your guys. I still have a lot to do but I am so pleased with how it looks so far. I didn't have a very great budget when I started. Most of everything that I had to buy came from Walmart. I had a few DIY projects that I did to add a little bit of whimsical to the room.

The wall decals were really the start of it all. Let me start by saying I am OBSESSED with how this accent wall turned out! I have always wanted to do something like this in our home but I've always been intimidated by applying them. I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to apply these decals over an entire was in less than in hour. It was so easy to do and the end result is so simple and modern but adds the best touch to any room. I got the decals from a fabulous company called Urban Walls. I wanted something different instead of the normal dots, triangles, or crosses. I went with pine trees! I think they are the perfect background to the woodsy/manly feel I was going for. If you are contemplating doing something like this in your home I 100% say go for it! Urban Walls has a great selection and they are so pleasant to work with! It seriously has the ability to add so much character to even the simplest of rooms!

I paired our new wall with some dipped pinecones and a pair of deer antlers. Very clean and chic! The mobile I actually won in a giveaway on Instagram, the Instagram has since been deleted, so if you know the shop that makes these please let me know so I can credit them.

The Burlap canvases are from Walmart. They were like 5 bucks a piece. I drew out silhouettes on them and did simple black paint. I think it would be pretty cool to add a pop of color to one though.

The pillows in the crib, the shelf, and the toy basket all from Walmart for pretty great prices!

I can't say enough about the teepee! I've had it for a while and my niece and nephew have enjoyed it so much. Now Baylor is big enough to enjoy it too. You can find this teepee at B.E. Little You and Me.

All in all I think it turned out pretty great! I am working on a few hand drawn prints to hang and some curtains  also. Hopefully I will have a completely finished product soon! I can't wait to share with you guys.
